SOCIAL CAPITAL MONITORING (SCM)

Cooperative Intelligence is launching a new research initiative focused on the creation of the first Social Capital Observatory in Greece. The aim of this project is to systematically study all parameters and available data that shape social capital — including trust, civic engagement, cooperation, and collective action. Through this analysis, a Social Capital Index per region will be developed, reflecting levels of social cohesion and networking across the country. Furthermore, the study will explore the relationship between social capital and cooperative forms of organization, examining whether the presence of cooperatives contributes to strengthening the social fabric of local communities.
